Our public safeguarding statement
Find Carers operates in the care sector and recognises the importance of safeguarding adults, children and young people from harm. This public safeguarding statement explains our approach to platform-related concerns.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. If a child or adult may be at risk, contact the relevant local authority safeguarding team.
Our Role
Find Carers is a platform and does not replace care providers, regulators, local authorities, police, emergency services or safeguarding boards. However, we take concerns connected to our platform seriously.
What Users Should Report
Users should report concerns about unsafe listings, misleading provider information, suspected abuse, exploitation, fraud, inappropriate content, suspicious behaviour or any platform activity that may place someone at risk.
Platform Action
Where a safeguarding concern relates to Find Carers, we may review content, suspend listings, restrict accounts, request evidence, preserve records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Provider Responsibility
Providers remain responsible for their own safeguarding policies, safer recruitment, staff training, incident reporting, regulatory notifications and care delivery.
Confidentiality
Safeguarding information will be handled sensitively and shared only where necessary and lawful, including where there is a risk of harm or a legal obligation.
Use the Report a Concern page if your concern relates to Find Carers.
