Find Carers operates in a sector where safety, dignity and trust matter. We encourage clients, families, providers and professionals to report concerns quickly and to use the correct safeguarding routes.
What is a safeguarding concern?
A safeguarding concern may involve abuse, neglect, exploitation, unsafe care, financial abuse, coercion, discrimination, poor practice, unexplained injury, missed essential support or a person being placed at risk.
If someone is at immediate risk of harm, call 999. Find Carers is not an emergency service and cannot provide emergency intervention.
Non-emergency concerns
For non-emergency safeguarding concerns, contact the relevant local authority safeguarding team, the provider's safeguarding lead where appropriate, and notify Find Carers if the concern relates to a listing, enquiry, profile or platform user.
How Find Carers responds
We may review platform content, request further information, restrict access, suspend listings, remove misleading information or signpost to external agencies. We cannot replace statutory safeguarding authorities.
